More about me

I'm Justine, a certified child sleep consultant with a background in education, psychology, and parenting support. People, and children in particular, have always fascinated me. I’ve explored that fascination and developed my knowledge over the years through gaining a degree in psychology, by working as a youth counsellor, and by teaching for over 20 years in primary schools. More recently, I studied with The Sleep Charity, the UK's leading authority on sleep issues, to become a child sleep practitioner and a proud member of the Sleep Charity's 'Sleep Professionals' group. I am now excited to bring all my years of experience working with families to my sleep business, 'And So To Sleep'.

Whilst my years of experience working with children and their families is invaluable, in all honesty it was becoming a parent myself that gave me the deepest insight into the emotional and practical challenges families face when sleep goes wrong. One of my own children was a terrible sleeper, and so I know first-hand how exhausting and overwhelming that can be. I never want to have to get up at 4am again!  However I did learn a lot along the way, and so now I use my experience and training to help families get the rest they need. My approach will always be gentle and sympathetic, and most importantly, tailored to your individual family's needs and lifestyle. I’ll never ask you to leave your child to cry alone. Instead, I will work alongside you to create a sleep plan that fits your values, your child’s temperament, and your family life.

Please do get in touch for a no obligation free chat, you don't have to struggle alone.
